Apple ประกาศรองรับ Apple Pay เพิ่มอีก 7 ประเทศ ตั้งเป้ารองรับกว่า 40 ประเทศภายในปี 2019
ล่าสุดแอปเปิลได้ประกาศเตรียมรองรับ Apple Pay ในอีก 7 ประเทศในโซนยุโรปเพิ่มเติม ซึ่งได้แก่ ออสเตรีย, โปรตุเกส, สโลวาเกีย, สโลวีเนีย, เอสโตเนีย, กรีซ และโรมาเนีย
N26 บริการ Mobile banking, ING และ Slovakian bank Slovenská sporiteľňa ได้ออกมาทวีตเกี่ยวกับการรองรับ Apple Pay ใน 7 ประเทศดังกล่าว ซึ่งจะสามารถใช้งานได้เร็ว ๆ นี้
สำหรับ Apple Pay แอปเปิลเปิดตัวครั้งแรกในปี 2014 โดยเริ่มจากในสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งในงานเปิดตัวเมื่อวันที่ 25 มี.ค.ที่ผ่านมา แอปเปิลประกาศว่า เตรียมขยายการรองรับ Apple Pay ให้มากกว่า 40 ประเทศทั่วโลก ภายในปี 2019 นี้ ต้องมาคอยลุ้นกันว่า หนึ่งใน 40 ประเทศที่เตรียมรองรับในปีนี้ จะมีประเทศไทยหรือไม่
